Our History

Tavola Culinary Inc. was founded in 2020 by Tony Cammalleri with the intention of making his many recipes accessible to the local neighborhood. Tavola quickly gained popularity and Tony built a sizeable following. In 2022 Tony formed a partnership with long-time friend, Daniel Galletti. With this team in place we are now able to service a wider audience and also make our products available through a variety of new avenues, such as Tavola@Home and through our very first brick-and-mortar location which will be opening in the fall of 2023!

Meet the Team Behind Tavola

Passionate chefs and creators bringing fresh flavor, artistry, and hospitality to every meal.

Tony Cammalleri

A graduate of George Brown Culinary school who also did his residency in Bergamo, Italy. Once Tony graduated he opened the much loved Americani Restaurant in Woodbridge. Afterwards he was under the employ of Pusateri’s Fine Foods where he spent over a decade and in his time there became the corporate chef. His resume includes other positions in food innovation at other fine establishments in and around the GTA. Chef Tony’s top quality recipes are enjoyed by many. You can continue to enjoy our food both here from our website, and (soon) in person at our new Negozio.

Daniel Galletti

Daniel brings an added dimension of hospitality and creativity to all that we do here at Tavola. He studied Fine Arts at York University and also worked in hospitality throughout. Post-university he juggled his time between private art commissions while working in the corporate sector and aiding with the management of Americani Restaurant. This was followed by 15 years of experience managing catering and curating a number of memorable events at Pusateri’s Fine Foods. His artistic background has served well. Food should look as good as as it tastes after all…
